SAMA Music + Art is a Seattle-based nonprofit connecting audiences with extraordinary artists and musical traditions from around the world. We believe music was humanity’s first language and that gathering around it can help us listen across difference.

Since 2019, SAMA has presented and documented performances by more than 200 artists from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Through live concerts, cultural exchange, storytelling, and digital media, we create spaces where traditions are celebrated, artists are heard, and audiences can discover something beyond the familiar.

Our work is rooted in a simple idea: music can build empathy, challenge assumptions, and remind us of our shared humanity.
